Why vend here

Foot traffic you did not have to buy.

A convention sells tickets to people who already know they are coming. A shopping street inside a mall puts your table in front of the weekend crowd that was already there — and then adds the fans who came for you. That mix is the point: Sherwood Park put anime artists, a dice maker, a bakery, a card shop and a board-game store in one corridor, and all of them sold to all of it.

You keep 100% of your sales. The booth fee is the only cost: flat for the weekend, table and chair included, shared backdrop up before you arrive, exhibitor desk staffed from dock to teardown. We curate the roster for category balance so no one is boxed in by four neighbours selling the same thing, and every confirmed vendor gets a feature on our Instagram before doors.

How booking works

From application to load-in.

No money changes hands until you are approved. Every step below has a date attached, and your load-in packet has your arrival slot.

  1. Apply — early bird until September 30

Fill in the application form with your shop details, what you sell and three to five product photos. Applications received before October 1 get $50 off either space. Applications are answered within 48 hours. Roster closes Monday, October 19, 2026, or when the street is full.

  2. Approval and invoice

On approval you receive one Square invoice for the full amount: your space, any add-ons and GST. There is no deposit. If we cannot place you, nothing is charged.

  3. Payment

Pay the invoice in full by Saturday, October 17, 2026, one week before the show. Spaces still unpaid after that date are released to the waitlist.

  4. Booth assignment and load-in packet

About two weeks before the show you receive your booth number, the floor map, dock directions, your 15-minute arrival slot, parking and the overnight policy.

  5. Show weekend

Saturday load-in from about 8 a.m., show-ready 30 minutes before open, both days fully staffed until close. Cover and secure Saturday night; full teardown within two hours after close on Sunday.

Vendor FAQ

Before you apply.

Who can apply?
Independent artists, makers, small businesses and specialty retailers selling all-ages merchandise that fits an anime, hobby, handmade and collectibles street. Food and drink vendors are considered individually and need the local health authority's temporary food permit and written mall clearance before approval.
What can I not sell?
Counterfeit or unlicensed mass-produced goods, adult (18+) material, functional or live-edge blades, open flames, helium and aerosols. Replica prop weapons stay sheathed or wrapped at the booth. Handmade fan art is the artist's own responsibility. The show rules carry the full list and the removal policy.
How does the early bird work?
Applications received before October 1, 2026 are invoiced at the early-bird price: $150 for a vendor booth, $50 for an artist space, $300 for a premium end cap, plus GST. From October 1 the prices are $200, $100 and $400. Either way there is no deposit: one invoice, due October 17.
Is there a commission?
No. The booth fee is the only charge. Bring a point-of-sale that runs on cellular data; mall Wi-Fi is not guaranteed for payments.
Can I share a booth?
Yes, if it is declared on your application and approved with it. Undeclared sharing forfeits the booth.
What if I have to cancel?
Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable for vendor cancellations and no-shows. If AniDora Events or the venue cancels, materially shortens or moves the show, you choose a full transfer to any AniDora show within 12 months or a full refund — the terms are on the rules page.
Do Sherwood Park vendors get first dibs?
Every show is a fresh application; there is no automatic rollover. Past vendors are welcome and encouraged to apply early.
Can I leave my booth set up overnight?
Yes. Cover your table, take cash and high-value stock home, and unplug power. Mall security patrols after hours; stock left at the booth is at your own risk.
Will you photograph my booth?
Yes. Our photographer shoots every booth and the street both days. By participating you consent to appearing in AniDora Events photos and video, including advertising, and you get your booth set to use for your own channels.
